How ThriveDesk Boosted Organic Growth by 15,000/month

Who it’s for: SaaS businesses, online businesses & customer services. ThriveDesk makes client support effortless by bringing everything into one single platform. There are many features like shared inboxes, real-time live chat, and self-help knowledge bases, teams can collaborate smoothly and deliver top-notch service. Whether it's quick responses or organized communication, ThriveDesk helps businesses keep customers happy and engaged.
Before Rank Wizards
ThriveDesk was already running on a monthly subscription model, but to give their revenue a boost, they’d often run lifetime deal promotions. While these promotions brought in some quick cash, they weren’t the kind of sustainable growth they were looking for.
The team had done their SEO homework, but leads were crawling in rather than running. The market was simply too saturated & organic visitors weren’t becoming the consistent wave of sign-ups they needed. And that's when ThriveDesk knew they needed an intelligence and strategy-oriented SEO solution to tap their audience and build consistent, long-term growth.
The Challenge
Struggling with Organic Growth: Regardless of anything they tried, ThriveDesk weren’t receiving the attention they had been working toward. Organic traffic was mounting, but it was happening at such a gradual pace that it didn’t influence anything at all.
Low Conversion Rates: They had visitors coming in and converting them into paid members wasn't working. The traffic wasn't converting into the frequent sign-ins they had been expecting.
Looking for a Stronger Strategy: ThriveDesk knew they needed a more solid and long-term SEO plan—something that would keep them growing steadily instead of relying on quick wins.
Revenue Struggles: Relying on lifetime deal promotions wasn’t enough to support their business model in the long run, and they needed a way to drive more consistent, recurring revenue.
What We Did
ThriveDesk wasn’t seeking temporary SEO Band-Aids, instead they required a long-term solution so that they could leverage to build a lasting foundation & drive consistent subscriptions. So we set the wheels in motion.
Understanding the Product and Its Competition
Before diving into strategy, we took a step back to understand ThriveDesk’s product inside out—what made it unique, how it solved customer pain points, and where it stood in the market.
We then analyzed the natural competition of the incumbent players and deconstructed strategies, backlinks, and content strategies and found gaps wherein ThriveDesk might be differentiated.
Keyword Research
We knew the market, so we wanted to target the proper keywords. Rather than targeting popular keywords that everybody else is targeting, we looked for uncommon, not-so-well-known keywords that aligned with ThriveDesk’s product and what the market was looking for. By using a combination of keywords that inform and sell, we ensured their content would get people to visit and convert them into paying clients.
Crafting a product-led content strategy and 12-month Calendar
We researched the users' pain points and built a 250-300 word 12-month keyword and funnel stage based content calendar (TOFU-MOFU-BOFU). We also optimized highest-priority landing pages and built a glossary and lead magnets with the intention of converting at scale.

Optimizing Existing Content
We audited ThriveDesk’s blog and documentation and identified areas of improvement and deficiencies. We had a comprehensive action plan that helped them utilize their content properly.
Building for the Future
SEO isn’t a done-and-dusted project. We set an SOP of the operation of the content that includes the best of the writing, editing, and optimization processes. We also spent 10-15 working days with them closely so that strategy and execution perfectly overlapped with each other.
Introducing the Job Board Concept
After conducting a survey of the niche space within the market, we came up with a niche and a proposed Job Board solution. This not only established ThriveDesk a thought leader within the niche space but also provided useful backlinks and natural future traffic.
What ThriveDesk Did Next
With the blueprint in hand, ThriveDesk set to work. They began to post content on a daily basis, following the plan that we had created. But they weren't alone—far from it—we were extremely involved, keeping everything on course.
We worked with their writers, offering "hands-on" assistance and commentary to make sure each post was not just well-written, but also SEO-friendly and optimized for fun for their audience.
Through sticking to the plan and being consistent, ThriveDesk picked up speed, converting content into a solid tool for long-term expansion.
