API Recommendation

Since competitors gained thousands of high quality backlinks from their API, we suggested PredictWind build an API focused on marinas, sailors, naval professionals, and ocean based businesses. This is now part of their long term product and backlink strategy.

Multilingual Expansion

We recommended that PredictWind add multilingual versions of their site. After implementing this change they saw a noticeable traffic increase.

What PredictWind Did Next

PredictWind took action quickly. They  

  • Changed a bunch of the no-follow links to do-follow links.  

  • Made bottom of the funnel landing pages which resulted in an immediate spike in the web pages traffic.  

  • Built and populated new feature pages which they had never done before.  

  • Started on creating multilingual versions of the site.  

  • They accepted the new site URL along with the new site content structure.  

  • They kept on making new recommended pages.  

  • They added schema, and lead magnets, as well as made technical improvements.

They didn’t invest in backlinks yet, but they fixed the foundational issues which removed the negative impact and improved link equity.

In a two month period from June to July 2025, Rank Wizards assisted PredictWind in moving from broad, low converting traffic to a better-focused acquisition model.

They removed toxic backlinks and converted some no follow links into do follow links. They fixed basic technical errors on the site and added structured data to key pages. They also followed LLM optimization suggestions to make content more relevant.

Clicks increased by approximately 353%, but impressions saw an even more massive jump, increasing over 906%.

They started using competitors for content ideas, backlink patterns, API usage, and page structure. Then they added multilingual versions of the site to reach more audiences.

Looking at the value of each page made them decide to use top-performing keywords to optimize existing pages before creating new content. The implementation of new URL structures and the building of pillar pages combined with landing pages and addition of bottom of funnel pages allowed them to capture high-intent visitors.
